Every year we have received more requests for an "unoaked" red wine. Last year with our 2008 vintage we created this new vintage for us. It is a blend of three of our 2008 red vinages in a very fruit forward, unoaked style. This is a low tannin red, done very fruit forward, but dry (0), and no oak. It is a deep red in colour and taste, very fruity. It matches well with most heavy foods, red meats, tomato sauce pasta's and cheeses. We are excited by the very early response to this new red, which offers the health benefits of a red while remaining low in tannins to those sensitive to them.
