With two years in barrels with one of the best red wine years in the last 10, this wine has to be tasted to be appreciated. Great aromatics, velvety tannins & great structure. The 2008 Baco Noir Reserve is deep crimson-purple colour, rich, full flavour, with deep currant, dark ripe berry flavour and a nice hint of vanilla. Berry aroma. Soft, smooth, fruity finish. Will age very well.
Matched with grilled or roast rich red meats especially lamb and ham, game birds, chicken, turkey, vegetables, pizza, tomato based pastas and firm cheeses and dark chocolate
